The Reeds Arms
Burnham on Sea
We were asked to create a way of diverting/preventing the strong winds from the seafront, to change internal location around creating a better use of space, as well as a total redecoration of the pub.
New feature pieces were added including three feature tables which were specially commissioned for The Reeds Arms. An original milk churn reflects the history of Somerset’s famous cheese industry. An original Victorian spa pipe reflects the history of Burnham on Sea as a spa town, and an antique marine telegraph from a steamboat. Much like the paddle steamers that would have once launched from the jetty opposite the pub.
